Had a lovely tuna steak and my wife a nice tagatelli . Service was attentive and although busy we felt that the 3 staff in that night served everyone good . Harbour front was good position .

We had an amazing breakfast here, and it ended up being one of the best meals I had in Italy. We ordered the seafood salad, packed with fresh sliced squid, shrimp, and tomatoes — super fresh and flavorful. I also had the coffee shake, which was so tasty, and we spotted some fried plantains in the pastry display that were incredibly delicious. The cafe has outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the water and boats, and the breeze made it even better. One of the waitresses was so kind and helpful, especially since we didn’t speak Italian — I wish we had gotten her name! If we’re ever back in Santa Margherita, I would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

A nice cafe that actually serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and so it's more like a restaurant. We settled for this cafe as they have a nice outdoor seating facing the sea and the breakfast crowd was just leaving. To be honest, we didn't expect too much from the food but when it came, we were pleasantly surprised. Not only did it looked good, it tastes very well too. Service is a little slow but at these places, I guess your supposed to relax and take your time. They allowed smoking in the outdoor seating which is good for smokers.

One of the few places still serving lunch past 14:30. Spaghetti vongole was the best dish. So tasty and lots of clams. Frito misto was good too. Spaghetti bolognese was just ok. Overall a good experience.

Nestled along the Santa Margherita promenade you can find this gem of a restaurant. It’s also really amazing that it does not close between 2-7pm like most Italian restaurants. We stumbled across it around 3pm looking for somewhere to eat and we were quite surprised to see it open. We had a wait time around 30min unfortunately due to the high demand for tables. All the dishes I give 10/10 stars. The tuna was cooked to perfection and the quality for the tuna steak was near perfect. We will definitely be back!

Over the years I've always wanted to eat at Osteria del Porto but, for some reason, never had the opportunity to. A few days ago, on a splendid late September day, I finally got around to eating lunch there. We sat at a dockside table and very much enjoyed both the view and the meal. Prices are average for Santa Margherita Ligure.
